History

Unlike her spirited older sister, Lucy has always been the quiet one. Oh yes, of course she cried as a baby, and whined for things as a toddler, but overall she was far quieter and more mellow, preferring to simply follow the rules and slide through the world relatively unnoticed. The only rules she actually broke were bedtime ones: she would sneak a book and a flashlight under her covers to read after lights-out.

Although she was disappointed to not be in the same house as her sister (or any of the rest of the family, except cousin Louis who was a year after her), Lucy knew that Ravenclaw was the place for her. She was, after all, about as stereotypical of a geek as you can be. She craved knowledge for its own sake, and would frequently study interests on the side (though nothing ever became consuming enough to prevent her from doing her schoolwork).

During career counseling in her fifth year, Lucy was anxious because she didn't know what she wanted to do when she graduated. She (jokingly!) asked if she could get paid to read. Professor Flitwick directed her to the two publishing companies located on Diagon Alley, and even put in a good word for her upon graduation to get her in the door.

Concept

The Quiet Weasley™ who would live in the library if given the option.

Life Goals: Romantically, she wants a love like gran and pops. The starry-eyed part of her wants to be swept off her feet. The pessimistic part of her says it'll never happen, guys don't like fat girls and she's too quiet and shy anyway. But a girl can dream and wish, right? Professionally... she'd like to not necessarily be famous, but to be the important person behind the scenes to makes it all happen. The editor-in-chief at Whizz Hard, or the head of acquisitions, choosing the new and rising writers. As long as she still gets paid to read. Personally, she'd like to lose a little weight. Which is hard when you're a stress-eater and your sister is a famous chef, and your gran always wants to feed you, and the most exercise you've ever gotten is all those billions of stairs at Hogwarts for seven years, and you'd be happy to never see any stairs ever again.
