History
- Oldest child of Chandler and Alianne Rickett, who gave their kids first names starting with the vowels in order, and middle names based on plants. Which isn't weird at all.
- Grew up with a healthy love of both plants and animals, thanks to his parents frequently bringing the kids with them to work and finding other ways to immerse their children in learning about plants and animals.
- Anthony was 2 when Voldemort was defeated, and all his siblings were born after that, so they were all raised in a post-war "peaceful" world, but their parents still wanted them to learn the lessons from the war. Anthony came to develop an intense dislike of blood purists, and of bullies in general.
- With both parents working, Anthony often found himself helping to take care of his younger siblings, and he quickly became the mouthpiece for all five Rickett children, negotiating with their parents for more allowance, later bedtimes, extra desserts. It didn't always work, because parents, but he was also noticing that in the greater world, people tended to listen more to the people who had privilege than those who didn't, much like he was listened to more because he was the oldest.
- Hogwarts was everything he had hoped for when he started. His parents were disappointed that he wasn't sorted into their house, but Anthony loved Hufflepuff as a second home and family.
- He made it onto the Hufflepuff Quidditch team as a reserve beater in his second year, then made starting beater in his fourth year. He had loved the sport growing up, and the more he played it, the more he knew that he wanted it to be his future career. He was immensely disappointed that the sport was cancelled at school last year for the tournament. Sure the tournament was exciting, but what about quidditch?! What about the seventh years who lost their last chance at playing before trying to go pro? Surely they could have the matches and the tournament!
- He cheered for Cedric, obviously. Like most of Hufflepuff, he was suspicious of Harry Potter's name coming out of the cup, because how did a fourth year get past the age line? He didn't wear one of the Potter Stinks badges, but he still didn't cheer for the Gryffindor on the principle of the thing.
- Following the last task and Cedric's death, Anthony believed what Harry Potter and Dumbledore were saying... to an extent. He believes that Harry and Cedric ended up somewhere else, and that someone murdered Cedric. He doesn't believe that it was You Know Who, but perhaps Sirius Black or one of his other followers. The mass breakout of Death Eaters from Azkaban this January still doesn't necessarily say that YKW is back, maybe Black is the new rallying point for them, or something. Regardless, it's obvious that danger is brewing, and things are becoming unsafe again, particularly for the muggleborns.
- Coming from relative privilege (well-off family, reasonably lengthy magical heritage) he decided to use his voice for good, and he plans to continue using his voice for good once he makes it onto a professional team in a couple of years, because people listen to celebrities.

Trivia
- Suffers horribly from foot-in-mouth disease. Things will often pop out of his mouth before he can really think them through, so he ends up saying things he doesn't mean, or things that just sound bad.
- His favourite team is the Magpies, and he would LOVE to play for them when he goes pro. (Hi, teammate Finn!)
- Always moving, even if just bouncing his knee up and down or figeting with his quill or hair or whatever else is nearby. He has too much energy to simply be still.
- Was once referred to as a bludger because he would get an idea in his head and go full-charge at it but once he's knocked off-course he usually ends up doing something entirely different.
- Is sort of like a golden retriever or laborador or similar dog. All excitable energy and loveable doltery. He won't lick you (probably) but he might pounce on you with a huge bear hug if he's in a particularly upbeat and energetic mood.
