History

- mom & dad met at a wedding: his sister and her best friend
- dad is jewish, mom is christian (church of england)
- both abraham and emily got a lot of flack from their families for dating the other
- neither listened to their parents and they got married in 1978
- anthony was born just under two years later
- colleen followed two and a half years later
- jonathan after another three and a half years
- the kids were raised both and neither jewish and christian: celebrated holidays from both religions and attended both church and temple occasionally with one parent or the other, but it was left up to them to choose which they wanted to believe (if at all)
- anthony went for church of england with some wiggle room for witchcraft and wizardry
- hogwarts letter in summer 1991; sorted into ravenclaw

- joined DA in fifth year partly because umbridge was an evil evil woman, partly because harry potter was a pretty cool dude, partly because knowledge is power, partly because friends were joining too

- bones in his left arm were broken (nearly shattered) in the battle during seventh year, also has a huge scar across his back from a curse. bones were mended & scar healed as much as possible, but his arm aches when it's cold and his back starts hurting if he's in one position for too long.
