I have played a variety of Prefects and Head Students over the years, who ran the gamut of "why did (s)he get a badge?" to "strictest prefect ever." Some of them (particularly in earlier games), I'm not entirely sure why I gave them the badge, because they really weren't actually all that suited to it.
